A veteran-owned moving company in Caldwell, Idaho, started by a Marine who has been moving people since high school. Our motto is simple: your move is our mission.
Built by a mover who started at the bottom
Eric Lopez learned the moving business in high school, carrying furniture and learning how a good crew works. Then he served in the Marine Corps.
When he came back, he went straight back to moving, this time with a Marine's sense of leadership and responsibility. He led crews, helped open an out-of-state branch for a major moving company, and co-founded another moving company with people he trusted.
Those years showed him what customers actually want from a mover. Not much of it is complicated:
- Clear communication before, during and after the move
- A crew lead who runs the day and owns the result
- Careful crews who protect the house as well as the furniture
- Honest pricing, in writing, before anyone picks up a box
In 2025 Eric founded Better Route Moving & Storage in Caldwell to run every move that way, for families and businesses across the Treasure Valley.

Before you book, we walk through your home by video call or in person, so the crew arrives with the right truck, the right equipment and a plan. Blankets, shrink wrap and floor protection come with them.
