One crew, first box to last bed frame
A local move with Better Route starts with a short walkthrough, by video call or in person, so we see what's moving before we quote it. On moving day the crew brings moving blankets, shrink wrap and floor protection. Furniture gets wrapped, loaded and strapped, then set in the right rooms at your new place.
Beds, tables and desks are taken apart at one end and put back together at the other. You shouldn't have to hunt for bolts on your first night.

Gun safes, tool chests and other heavy pieces are regular jobs here. We move them when it can be done safely, with the right equipment. One rule: the firearms come out before the safe moves.

How much does a local move in the Treasure Valley cost?
It depends on how much you're moving, stairs and elevators at both places, packing, and the size of crew the job needs. After a short walkthrough we send a free written quote showing the crew, the trucks, the hourly rate and the travel fee up front, with what's included.
Which towns do you cover for local moves?
Boise, Meridian, Nampa, Caldwell, Eagle, Kuna, Star, Middleton and the communities around them. Our office is in Caldwell, at 204 W Kearney St.
Do you handle apartment and condo moves?
Yes. Stairs, elevators, narrow hallways, parking and building move-in rules are part of the plan. Send us your building's rules when you book and we'll work to them.
Can you move a gun safe?
Yes, when it can be done safely. Firearms must be taken out before we move any safe. Mention the safe, and roughly how big it is, when you request a quote so we bring the right equipment and crew.
How far ahead should I book a local move?
One to three weeks covers most local moves. In summer, the busiest season, book four to six weeks out. Need to move sooner? Call us. When the schedule allows, we'll fit you in.
