Caldwell movers, based right here in town
Better Route is headquartered on Kearney Street in Caldwell. Local moves, moves across the valley, packing and storage, run by a veteran-owned crew that lives here.
Caldwell is home, not just a service area
Plenty of movers say they "serve Caldwell." For us it's the other way around: Caldwell is where our office is, where our trucks park at night, and where our crews live. Hiring Better Route means hiring the hometown company.
We move people all over town: the older streets around downtown and Indian Creek, the neighborhoods near the College of Idaho, established homes along Cleveland Boulevard, the new subdivisions on the south side, and the farms and acreage that make Canyon County what it is. Every one gets the same standard: on time, careful, finished right.

Caldwell moving questions
How much do movers in Caldwell cost?
It depends on the size of the move, packing, and access at both homes. After a short walkthrough we send a free written quote that shows the crew, the trucks, the hourly rate and the travel fee up front, so you know what you're paying for.
How far ahead should I book my Caldwell move?
One to three weeks covers most local moves. In summer, the busiest season, book four to six weeks out. If you're on a tighter timeline, call: being based in town, we can sometimes fit a short-notice move.
Do you bring packing materials?
Yes. Moving blankets, shrink wrap and floor protection come with the crew. Boxes and full or partial packing are available; ask when you get your quote.
Can you move safes, shop tools and heavy equipment?
Yes. Gun safes, tool chests, welders and shop benches are regular jobs in Canyon County. List heavy items when you request a quote so we send the right equipment and crew.
Are you really based in Caldwell?
Yes. Our office is at 204 W Kearney St in Caldwell. When you call, you talk to our own team, not a call center.
